Mia Maids visit the beauty school

For our weekly activity we went to the beauty school here in town to have the girls get their hair done. You can tell by the pictures they had a fun time and loved their hair do's. It was fun to see the different styles on all the girls.

 

Personal Progress Challenge

Last week Sister Kuhni issued a challenge to all of the young women that have not yet received their Young Woman Medallion. The challenge is to complete 1 item in Divine Nature by March 8. Congratulations to Aubrey. She has completed all of her personal progress requirements and received her Young Woman Medallion.

New Beginnings

Our theme this year for New Beginnings was Soulvivor. It turned out to be a fun night with games and lots of laughter. We were able to get to know more about Olivia and Angela and we are excited to have them join us in Young Womens this year.

Cross Country Skiing

Our January combined YM/YW activity was a lot of fun. We went cross country skiing at Aspen Grove. It was dark and some of us had a few falls, but all in all it was a great experience. Many of the leaders had headlamps and as long as we followed the light we knew we were going the right way. Just like in life, Christ is our light and if we follow him he will lead us to our ultimate goal of returning to live with our Heavenly Father.
